Female Heads
Going along with the idea of building straight in Zbrush, I also wanted to try new methods of doing hair by using a brush I should have used much more often and a LONG time ago: the Dam_Standard brush. I tried various hairstyles for a head I also sculpted directly in Zbrush just to mess around. You can say that these are trials and speedsculpts.
These models catapulted me into my current and almost completed project: The Witch!
Painter's Pets: Hint of Blue
Its been far too long since I made a new post. The Hint of Blue was done a LONG time ago, so I am just bad at updating this. I really should more often considering I am on the final stretch for my newest endeavor.
For this post I will finish the Painter's Pets series of characters/monsters/pets.
The idea behind this guy would be like a spectral spellcaster pet of the painter. Faceless but with a hood, this Hint of Blue can strike from a distance.
I have another series of heads coming up!

Painter's Pets: Dash of Yellow
I figured the Painter's Pets would be 3 colors: Red, yellow, and blue. The reason is obvious: those colors are the original primary color triad. They will also represent the 3 common models you can have as pets in a RPG game: Tank (strength), Numbers (mobility), and Ranged (caster).
As you can figure now, the Blotch of Red in my last post is the Tank/melee/strength character.
This time I have the little...excuse my language...shitheads of dogs that can annoy the crap out of you. Similar to Zerglings from Starcraft or any game that has large packs of high mobility little runts (Prometheans in Halo 4...I'm looking at you.), the Dash of Yellow is supposed to represent that. With a splash of yellow on the ground, 3 dogs will form from the splash and annoy the hell out of the Painter's enemies.
I need to work on non-human feet/ human feet/ human hands/ appendages in general more.

Painter's Pets: Blotch of Red
I had some quick ideas when I was showering one day about some pets a painter character can have in a sort of RPG like setting. The Painter, along with other artists of sorts, would be warriors in a fantasy setting like what you would see with warlocks, mages, warriors, barbarians, etc.
The painter has 3 types of basic pets (Was thinking that he/she could mix paints and thus mix pets) which I have come up with clever names for :P at least...In my mind they are clever...<_<
FIRST UP is the BLOTCH OF RED
He would be the strong "tank" sort of pet. Using raw power of his fists, he would pummel the Painter's enemies into the ground...or canvas :P
100% Zbrush, messing around with Dynamesh and some Zspheres.
Next would be the Dash of Yellow...

From Ashes Part 2
It's Finished! It looks awesome too. I am proud of it. Purely Zbrush, success!
I have many other projects lined up that I have written down and am thinking of sketching and do other research and develop the ideas.
